Support Prgrams
HIV West Yellowhead provides support to those who are infected, or affected by HIV/AIDS, STI’s and Hepatitis C.
Our organization also runs a GLBTQ support group. The GLBTQ acronym stands for Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgender, and Questioning. This group usually meets once a month and participates in some really fun activities such as a bowling night in Hinton, a potluck party and GLBTQ movie nights. This group is open to anybody who is a sexual minority or supports individuals who are. We celebrate International Day Against homophobia on May 17th every year and once again this year we will be hosting an event so make sure to check out our Facebook group and the upcoming events section on the site.
